Your personal data is collected to be able to provide you with the requested services and information. This can be

 

• To be able to contact you when you request more information or when you have completed the ‘stay up-to-date’ form.

What is the legal ground for this process activity?

 

Your personal data will be collected based on your consent. By completing the contact form, you provide us with consent to collect and process your personal data. When you provide us with contact information of another individual, you need to have consent from this individual. 

 

You can withdraw your consent at any time. This withdrawal has as a consequence that your personal data will be removed.

 

Providing us with your personal data is not obligatory, but certain services will not be possible without this information.

 

How long will your personal data be stored?

 

Your personal data will not be kept longer than required for the purpose for which they were collected. This means that your personal data will be deleted 5 years after last registered activity (such as open mail, request documentation, etc.). 

 

When you request your personal data to be deleted or when you withdraw your consent, you personal data will also be deleted. 

 

Who will have access to your personal data?

 

Your personal data can be shared with the other partners in this initiative for the sole purpose of keeping you informed about our activities. 

 

Your personal data can be shared with service providers with whom we work to provide our services, such as mail providers or website creation and hosting services.

 

IMEC will ensure that your data has proper protection at all times and hence it will only be sent to countries or corporations that are able to guarantee equivalent protection.
